HELLO EVERYONE!! ITS TIME FOR...............CLASS CHALET!!!

there's a few things that need to be comfirm and assign.. this are the followings:

1. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CHALET WILL BE ON 10 NOV

TO 13 NOV(yes, its next monday) AT ALOHA LOYANG

(same as last year). WE WILL BE STAYING IN GARDEN

after 3.30pm. SO TAKE THE shuttle bus service

IF YOU ARE COMING ON YOUR OWN( refer to bus time table-link below). REMEMBER TO BRING ALL THE NECESSITIES.^^

gah, this blog hasn't had a new post since god knows when. But not to worry, I'll be here to spice things up! FIRST OFF. Before you guys see the chalet to-bring list, I'd like to inform you guys that there is an ERROR in the previous post.

Our CHALET is NOT chalet LB6 - Fantail, it is chalet LB8 - HERON.
WHICH ALSO MEANS:
The pictures of the chalet you saw in the previous post may be a little different as the chalet you will be staying in (as those were pictures of LB6, not LB8). HOWEVER, there might be no difference at all (we didn't see LB8 you see). LB8 right next to LB6, so most of the 'hustle and bustle' is still to our left and the pool, beach, court etcetcetc is still very much accessible.

THOSE TAKING THE SHUTTLE BUS AT 4PM:
Please take the MRT line bound east, towards Pasir Ris. Be at the Taxi Stand facing the Main Road, near McDonalds by 4:00 PM. The shuttle bus comes at 4:15PM, so if you're late, be prepared to wait there for another hour, or take a cab*.

*Be sure to tell the taxi driver you want to go to Aloha LOYANG, not Aloha Changi. If you get confused (or if the taxi driver gets confused) call Cinyi (I mean, Chen Xinyi), 98800439. THANK YOU. :D

ITS THE MOST PERFECT AWESOME EXTREME FANTASTIC BRILLIANT EXCELLENT FANTASTIVC BEAUTIFUL WONFERDUL MARVELLOUS ETCETCETCETCETC PLACE EVERRRRR.

ANYWAY. We took a MRT down to Pasir Ris and then we missed the shuttle bus many many times due to our holdup at SWENSENS (thank you Sean!!!!) and so we took a taxi, where there was a conflict between us and the taxi driver (info on Cher's blog. And im shamelessly advertising) but we got there. It's a very nice place!

Here I shall divide the post into many sections.

FIRST THINGS FIRST.
1: ALOHA LOYANG/HAWAII RECEPTION OFFICE:

Alright, about this. When you are at the Security Hut, aka the Entrance, turn right. You'll come across this big, beautifully carved map. It's really very pretty itself. ;D

Closer view of the 'Important Area', or so as dubbed by Cher. ;D Our Bungalow is LB6, the one just opposite the tennis court. Fifteen steps away from Waikiki Swimming Pool & Jacuzzies, Arcade Centre, Play Room, Aloha Cafe, Street Soccer Court & Beach Gate. How lovely.

ANYWAY. When you turn right, you'll see the Location Map, like what I stated earlier. The Location Map is next to HAWAII RECEPTION OFFICE. This is, well, a Reception Office. :) You can borrow Badminton equipment, Soccer equipment, Netball equipment, Volleyball equipment, & Sepak Takraw equipment here. JUST BEYOND THE RECEPTION OFFICE IS THE WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL POOL AND ITS THREE JACUZZIES! But we'll come to that later. ;)

When you've seen the Reception Office, continue walking up the path. You'll see the tennis court to your right, Terrace units 9, 10, 11 and 12 up front. WHAT COMES AFTER TERRACE UNIT 12??

OUR SPIFFING BUNGALOW OF COURSE!!

2: OUR BUNGALOW (LB6) AND ETC:

Our Bungalow, namely, LB6 aka Fantail (a type of bird) is a Sea View Bungalow. It's supposed to have a good view of the sea AKA, very close to the sea. well, closer than the other bungalows anyway. :D

AHA. THERE'S YOUR PROOF. With our very own model, CXY!

Sean and I, in the second 'Stone Area' as I have cleverly dubbed it. The Stone Area is basically just an area with no ceiling and lots of stone. If it rains, we're toast (or chicken soup) cause the second Stone Area just just outside the four rooms. -_- There's me, being stupid. I was pretending to do a prayer for rain btw. My face was spastic therefore you are forbidden from seeing it. :)

FIRST STONE AREA! Just next to the living room, also next to the Front Door. I don't know why the funny brown stones are there, therefore my confused look. Not that you can see it, meh. xD

Foreground, you see the First Stone Area! And someone who is not me. Hmm. I wonder who she is. Middleground, the walkway which leads to our rooms! Also you see the sliding door of the living room! Background you see a little corner of the Second Stone Area. :)

THE BBQ PIT! I know there's only one, but we can always improvise. :) Just outside the living room, complete with a bench in front and a table behind.

Alright, the driveway of the house! Don't mind the van, there were some painters there. They were renovating the house. JUST FOR US TO OCCUPY IT!!

Just to show off my photography skills. Yes, you can see the living room. How nice. I bet a lot of you are gonna slack and watch TV while the rest of us work our butts off, trying to fan the thing. -___-

See. If you were to run from the BBQ pit all the way front, you'd meet the First Stone Area. -_- Goes to show we have to lock the living room sliding doors.

3: Waikiki Swimming Pool:

BEAUTIFUL SPIFFING PLACE. AHHHHHHHHHHH.

ISN'T IT, ISN'T IT?? I so wanted to jump it. It's very very nice! And it was super hard to take pictures of the pool, cause there were some guys in it, and I bet they thought we were perverts. -______-

OMGOMGOMGOGMOGOMGOMGOMOG. ITS THE JACUZZI! There are 3. I thought this was the nicest. :) Right next to the pool!

LO AND BEHOLD! A slide! WOWW!!!!!!! It's the blue thing at the back btw. Cxy is the m o d e l.

CXY ON THE STEPS TO THE SLIDDDDDE! Aren't you excited!
Hehehe. And now I'm going to burst your bubble by saying that children above 12 aren't allowed on it. -____- Yes I was sulking too.

It's really very pretty. We should totally fill the pool with 2G-ness. Like mwahahahah. And the jacuzzi. Did I mentionthe jacuzzi? Cause we have to fill it with 2G-ness too!!
The pool is just outside the Arcade, Aloha Cafe and the Play Room! Also behind the Reception Office.

4: Oahn Children's Playroom:

LOL. Yeah, Finding Nemo and Sinbad were being screened. HAHAHA. I don't know if we can enter, there weren't any age limit signs. :D Seems pretty nice, with the little playground inside! Air- conditioned. ;)

5: Molokai Arcade Centre:

Haven't been inside, but we saw the machines. ;D Be happy, people. HAPPY. This is super close to our bungalow, along with everything else. :) Judging by the reflections on the glass doors, I think you can tell this is just in front of the pool. :D

6: Mani Games Court:

At long last, Cher is finally posting something worth reading!! LOL. See my hand? Yes. It was meant to point to that word. Sorry we couldn't take a picture of the court itself. Were a couple of guys playing soccer there and we don't want even MORE people to think we were perverts. -_- Right next to Aloha Cafe, which is next to the pool! Also very close to our bungalow. HEHEHEHEH.

THE FOOT REFLEXOLOGY PLACE! LOL. Just a path full of stones jutting out to stimulate the blood flow or something something. Just outside the Mani Games Court and im telling you about it just for fun. Just beyond my arm, you can see the Mani Games Court. Yeah, it's like a sneak peek, cause we really couldn't take a picture of the court. -___-

7: Aloha Cafe: For all your bicycle, mahjong, food and etc needs! Quite cramped. $5 an hour for bicycles and I dont kno how much it costs to rent the mahjong table but its 24hrs. :)

Here's the list oustside the Cafe. Nice huh. :DD

8: The Beach:

This gate is right in front of Aloha Cafe. Meaning, it's very close to the Mani Games Court. Which also means it is just ouside the Arcade, aka, fifteen steps away from our bungalow.

Yeah you have to memorize the timing on the sign. Otherwise if the gate closes, you'll have to walk all the way from the beach to the main entrance of Aloha Loyang. And I don't even want to think about that distance.
Get to that gate by 10pm or die a cold shivering death outside.

Ehhh. Not exactly the nicest. But it's really pretty if you see it for yourself. :D The Production Board could use this space. ;P

9: Roundup, What To Prepare Etc:

YAY! It's gonna be funfunfun. The only downfall I can see is that the FOOD is pretty far away. :\

We can probably walk to Coasta Sands @ Downtown East, which is where our chalet was last year. There's Macs and that Food Junction there. Problem is some people might not want to walk so far. We can also take the shuttle bus back to White Sands Mall aka Pasir Ris MRT but the 'earliest' shuttle bus to take back to Aloha after noon is 1:55 (which is llunch time) or 5:55, and I don't think many of you would want to spend your life at that mall, when there's so much to do at the chalet. -_-
I present you the shuttle bus schedule:

Of course, we could stress about it during the chalet. :) Yeah, but don't worry about starving, cause we all will firgure something out.

Also, please bring a at least $20 if you're staying for 3 days 2 nights. And that's only a minimum. That's $20 for two lunches, whatever snacks, tidbits, dirnks you want to buy, bike rides (optional, but recommended), and possibly, I SAY POSSIBLY, taxi fares when you're stranded. :)
There, $20 - minimum. And I strongly suggest brining more.
Think on the bright side - you're paying $10 for a three day two night stay at a big bungalow with lots of friends, a soccer court, a badminton court, a tennis court, swimming pool, jaccuzi, arcade and a beach at our doorstep. :)

Please bring your SWIMMING COSTUME if you've fallen in love with the pool/jaccuzi (like me) otherwise you might have to purchase new ones from Aloha Cafe. And I don't think they'd have our sizes. -__- Bringing your soccer balls is entirely optional, as you can rent them at the Reception Office. I don't know if they charge though. Bring extra money if you're going to stick to the Arcade. Please don't though. :) Bike riding is good! Therefore you have to bike ride! Rentals at Aloha Cafe, as stated.

ALSO: Please bring LOTS and LOTS of FOOD for the BBQ!!! I'm worried we won't have enough for the BBQ, and I hope we do. Please tell Cxy, Sean or Myself if you're bringing food (and we hope you do).

The chalet we decided upon last time is, unfortunately, unavailable. Yes. Till two years later. So goodbye to the two storeys, good bye to the ample field and dingy toilet in the kitchen, goodbye garden hose, goodbye fragipani tree, and goodbye haunted locked room.

Yeah.

The new one our darling Class Glue, Chen Xinyi, booked is at Aloha Loyang, Pasir Ris. Not haunted like Aloha Changi, but its better to keep your eyes, ears and sixth sense peeled. Right, so its a Sea View Bungalow, simply named B6. Judging from the name, I think we're supposed to have a pretty nice view of the deep blue sea! Or green, it all depends.

Four bedrooms, each with a single ajourning washroom. Bathroom, shower room, whatever. Two queen sized beds and four single beds I think. Sean reserved the sofa in the living room, but I'm gonna push him off it if it's more comfortable. ;) With a kitchen, BBQ pit, TV (not 24 inch plasma, or whatever it was you guys were talking about. Sorry Yong Xiang. HEHE.) and a games table I think. Don't ask me what a games table is.

There's the main building near B6. There's an arcade there, so if you guys wanna camp out there, its fine too. xP I'm not so sure if there's a neoprint machine (for all the photo-hungry girls). Aloha Loyang is pretty big (there's a shuttle bus service) so don't get lost now!

5th to 7th November!

BBQ on the second night, and we're not planning on sleeping too early. Don't tell your mom, I don't think she'll be too pleased.

CHEN XINYI IS HENCEFORTH THE KITCHEN MAMA. Hungry or thristy, you should look for her. She's.. eh. Determined.

Weiqi has to bring Secrets cause she promied. Chen Xinyi is kindly providing the speakers and I the disc player, so it'll be noisy. Not silent, noisy. SO BRING WHATEVER MUSIC CDS YOU WANT TO SHARE! And it won't be too noisy. Just noisy. :)

There's something S H I N Y on BBQ night. And its not food. xD (nor a knife, if you're the kind of person who thinks that way cause you're a future serial killer) (nor anything else sharp, if you were thinking that way since I said it wasn't a knife) And that's all I'm saying.

Again, don't get lost. Look for CXY, Sean or myself for anything you aren't sure about, since we're the Very Stressed Trio, who are trying to keep everything a surprise. Well, as surprisy as it can get anyway. A number of you already know what's gonna happen. So bah, fine. Don't blab, kay. :)

CAUTION!!! ATTENTION ALL INSTRUMENT PLAYERS! Esp Guitar players

RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) can occur from any movement that is repeated many times. For most people it is the clicking of a mouse and the tapping of fingers on a keyboard, but it can also be contracted by playing a musical instrument. Other such conditions that can be aproduct of RSI are Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Tendonitis.

Ways Of Preventing RSI

01. Check Your Fretting Hand
Having a poor hand position can be a factor is having more tension in your fretting hand, this is usually because the placement of the thumb is too high and that the wrist has to bend to allow the fingers to do their job. Depending on the size of your hand and how comfortable you are with playing with your thumb quite high this should be seen as a problem that needs sorted -- look at your wrist and that should tell you everything.

2. Check Your Guitar Height
Never ever play with a guitar too low down. It does not look cool, it does not enhance playing but it does encourage injury. Playing with the guitar quite high is actually more comfortable and allows for better playing in most cases. Again the indicators here should be the wrists and how straight they are.

3. Check Your Picking Hand
Anchoring your hand, forearm, pinky or any part of your body to the guitar creates more friction and more tension in your muscles. Fact. The decision as to whether they create enough tension to be a problem is yours. If it is then it would involve learning a new way of picking all over again -- this is worth it as I'm sure you'd rather play guitar than not even be able to grip things (happens in extreme cases).

4. Relax
Like above -- any unneeded tension can attribute to more pressure on your limbs. This can result in having a sore shoulder when you play to your hand going numb. At no point is guitar supposed to hurt when you're playing (apart from calluse building in your finger tips). If you are having such problems then just try to play something easy with no tension -- think light. Sometimes tension is a result of muscle memory and needs to be wiped out through lots of practice. This should involve relearning something slow -- speed when you can't play very fast causes most people to lock up their hands a bit too much.

Guitar Exercises

The usual exercise of going 1-2-3-4 on the E string and moving up a string and up a string is good as it forces you to use all of your fingers and is a good indicator of improper technique. Your fingers should be able to easily fret after a little bit of practice and some improved finger independence. If this isn't the case then your thumb is probably too high.

Warm Up Exercises
Athletes warm up before running -- guitar is a physical exercise too. Try creating different stretches and such to help counter RSI. Something like putting your hand out before you like you were high-fiving someone, straightening your arm and gently pulling back on all of your fingers with the other hand until you feel a stretch in your wrist is a good little warm up.

Also try to stretch the wrists gently in any other direction you can. You might also considering doing stretches for your picking arm too if you are just geeting use to not anchoring as this arm is going to be feeling tired at the end of a playing session (tired not sore -- it's muslces that need to build up).

Build Up Endurance
The strength of the wrist depends on how strong your forearm muscles are. So some good exercises would be something chin-ups if you are lucky enough to have the facilities and the strength. Otherwise there are other exercises you can use.

For example, I use a tennis ball in each hand when I'm walking somewhere or waiting on a bus or watching TV and, with all of my fingers over the top I sit and squeeze them. This would build up muscles in your forearms and would also improve finger strength too. The stronger a muscle is the more it can endure before injury.

Golfers are known to always carry strong rubber balls for the same purpose and many of them (due to increased muscle in their wrists and forearms) have longer drives than before. Padraig Haddington uses a product called Powerball that does the same job except it puts a small amount of pressure on your muscles indirectly. It is recommended by chiropractors which brings me to my last point.

Seek Professional Advice
If your wrists are hurting (and I mean in every day activities like picking something up) then go and seek medical advice from someone who is actually qualified. Rest any type of exercise that could have an adverse effect on your wrists and follow the advice of your doctor and you should be fine.

So remember to stretch your hands before playing. Dont take this lightly cause my knuckles have been numb since the National Day performance and its scary. This is taken from the trusty and loved by all, UG.com.

SO ANYWAY time for the thing that i dont know what would be just now but now I know what it is. Today, I went with Brenda on her church event, Seasons Of Life. We went through the stages of life, from birth, childhood, teenhood, adulthood, and death. We started at 8pm, 8th Aug and ended at 8am, 9th Aug. There were some fun activites throughout. We stuffed water balloons in our shirts for birth, played kampong games for childhood, watched a full-length movie (Facing the Giants) for teenhood, dabbled in the stock market for adulthood and took a walk through the Choa Chu Kang Christian cemetery for death. How fun is that? A 4am walk through a cemetery. We had to fill in missing information about the tombstones. There was a 2 year old and a 100 year old person.

And we learnt some good things too. It's Christian stuff but I'll just say it, might save yer souls. I'll put them in short point form.

1. You can physically die anytime, not everyone gets to go through all of those seasons of life, but everyone experiences physical birth and death.
2. Nothing is impossible with God.

Okay points done. This has been a bit preachy but whats a little preachiness if its going to give you eternal life?

Okay I gotta go feed my llama, have a good holiday everyone.

PS: the marina bay NDP was the same as usual. After 5 minutes of watching i started reading my book in front of the tv and then after 30 minutes i left the living area completely. Dont you get tired of 42 years of the same thing?

And PMOAD going to perform again for Lunchtime, but the date and venue is not confirmed yet. Make this one count guys.

im here today to promote a few things.
u know, like a promoter/salesperson..
first up!
of course, P.M.O.A.D! (kat starts squealing)
we got through the auditions and Mr Paul Lee
told us that we were the GESSband!~! (stop squealing kat.)
so PMOAD is gonna get some kind of prize.
hope its not some voucher or smth.
so on national day's eve, support PMOAD!

-creating a super big banner with alot of colours(wad vaneesa is doing)

next, i shall promote my very own recipe!
i created the dish.
i dont have a name for it, but i'll call it delicious.
first, you take the amount of sausages you want from the fridge,
and put it on aluminium foil.
then, put some honey on top of the sausages, to your liking.
after that, you put a slice of cheese on top of the sausages: you can spread it out evenly by tearing them into smaller pieces.
then, put it in the toaster for about 3mins.
after waiting for 3 mins excitedly, pour loads of pepper into the melting cheese.
then put it back into the toaster for another, 1-2 mins.
after you hear a loud "DING!" , take it out, and enjoy.
it is best served with cold, ice green tea.

Today I shall, despite my horrible schedule, bring you a new (albeit boring?) post!

ABOUT THE END-OF-YEAR CHALET!!
If we're going to have one in the first place that is.

OKAY, we also know alike everybody else that last year's chalet was beyond.. well. Horrible I guess. I admit, we didn't do enough research and thus no Escape. The BBQ was half enjoyable and the pizza aroused conflicts. FINEFINE. And also some people complained the rooms were too small?

Alrighty.
So table tennis had a chalet during the June holidays and they booked a four-room kinda house thing at Pasir Ris Avenue. Yes, it's right across the road from Pasir Ris Park where we walked for MIIIIIIILLES under the scorching hot sun, cut gingerbread men for instructors and cheated by finding other symbols first. Ah. Memories. Makes you feel all warm, no?

I love the seats. They were like a mother's love when the amazing race got annoying.

ANYWAY; BACK TO POINT. There's a bus stop behind the house-our-tabletennis-seniors booked, which has a direct bus from the Pasir Ris Interchange or whatever it's called. This interchange is at the Pasir Ris MRT, I think those who went to the chalet last year by bus should know what I'm rambling on about. Basically, you don't have to walk much at all to get to this chalet. Good for the legs non, you strawberries?

Now let's pretend the black shirt girl over there is... say, Jacquelyn. No, it's not Cindy from 2E. -shakes head- By the way, blue-pink girl over there, half-dancing, is Peishan, insane runner extraordinaire. But let's retend that's someone from 2G as well! xD And despite looks, it really is a huge house, even by my standards. (but of course you wouldn't know my standards. =.=) It's got this nice staircase, a kitchen on first floor, one bedroom on first floor, a toilet on first floor,three bedrooms on second floor (each with their own balconies), a bathroom on second floor, 2 bbq pits, a small backyard behind the kitchen, a nice cute little tree and ample space right at the front, for all you guys' insane soccer needs. Oh.and it comes with a TV and fridge, rest assured. MWAHAHAHA. I KNOW. I can so suceed as some housing person thing, but who wants to listen to my very bright future when we have such an amazing house in front of us?? PS: btw, there's a room that's locked shut just opposite one of the bedrooms on second floor. I do not even want to know what is inside.

Now all we're missing is.. -DUNDUNDUN- decorations! It looks a little too fugly does it not? Soooo boring. But add a little funky banner on the balconies, paste fake plastic flowers into the tree and BWALA.

That was the slogan for Live Earth 07.07.07 and that was what AD did! The AD in 2G stayed all night and saved the population.

The lovely line-up for Wembley in London was a really long and draggy performance by Duran Duran, AND THEN, our heroes, the Red Hot Chili Peppers FINALLY PERFORMED! They performed for about 15 minutes and I was in a trance the whole time. Anyway here's the line up all ready for ye on YT!

Hey 2G!

Dont you wish you had more holiday time to WATCH RHCP!! Here's 3 great videos, again with something for the fan, something for the to be fan and something for the piano player.

Now something for the fan! Desecration Smile at AOL Session. It appears to me my chords are wrong cause JF plays a different chord in the beginning. Ah well who cares, the chords i got was rated 4/5 on Ultimate Guitar.

Its damn good, in fact im watching it as i post this.

And now for the to be fan! You gotta love the Zephyr Song, ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS LIVE!!!

And the mid-years are over! Three days to relax so don't come all tired and grouchy on tuesday, people. BESIDES. We're getting the results back! Fear the almighty power of the EXAM RESULTS! They can be the cause of lolipops and hugs but they can also cause the attack of the pissed parent. *cowers*

Anyway, it's all very (kinda) happy and you all are going to get a nicer placement of this very girly (or manly, if you don't like to admit its girly and orange) skin. Rejoice people, the new one is going to be cuter! (yes, cuter. LOL. Don't hate me.)

Dear 2E, 2F and 2G,

For this Saturday's performance of TITOUDAO, please gather at the National Library ground level entrance at 7.20pm. The National Library is located at Victoria Street, just a 5min walk from Bugis Junction, which sits above Bugis MRT station. There is a Han's cafe near the entrance of the National Library.

I thought that it would be a good opportunity for you to find out where this spanking new glass and steel building is, and the treasures that lie within. Please be punctual as we will need to take attendance and I'd like everyone to be given some time to explore the 13-storey building.

Please dress warmly and appropriately, and come with enthusiasm. Needless to say, I expect that you’ll be on your best behaviour!

When watching a play, basic etiquette/manners include:
• Avoid conversing loudly with your friend or fidgeting in your seat as this may be distracting for the actors
• Refrain from checking and sending SMSes as this may disturb other members of the audience
• Laugh when it’s appropriate to—you are not in your own private TV lounge
• There will be a 15 minute intermission, so wait until then to visit the washroom

Avril Lavigne, yeah the ENGLISH pop/rock star has a new album "The Best Damn Thing" and her hit "Girlfriend". Try listening to it in English, and see if you like it, and drop a 'yes' or 'no' to make it the blog song. What tickled me is the CHINESE version of Girlfriend. And oh lord, it's real hilarious, with the "ang moh" accent. So here I am, sharing this silly made-chinese video. Well, at least Avril is learning Chinese, and what about you? :p

Toy Factory Theatre Ensemble's TITOUDAO gives a loving portrait of the Chinese wayang during the Singapore of yesteryear, an art-form that is declining in popularity.
“Titoudao” is the name of a comic role in Hokkien opera (literallyshaving knife/blade), a hardworking and loyal servant of a family that has seen better times.
TITOUDAO is about the once popular Hokkien opera of the same name, whose title character is the loyal servant to Ti Boon Long, a poor scholar during ancient China whose once prosperous family is now bankrupt. Initially rejected by his betrothed Teng Lay Kiao, Boon Long obtains money from Lay Kiao's benevolent step sister, Swee Lian, to travel to the capital for the imperial examination.
With the help of his loyal servant, Titoudao, Ti Boon Long's family fortunes and position in society are restored. Framing this staging of the opera is the process of staging TITOUDAO itself, as well as the real life story of Madam On Ah Chiam, who made the role of “Titoudao” famous, and succeeded in becoming a famous wayang artiste.

In director Goh Boon Teck's script, the scenes of this opera are interspersed with scenes from each stage of opera actress Oon Ah Chiam's life - growing up in kampong Singapore, joining an opera troupe, marrying, growing old, reminiscing…
TITOUDAO sparkles with clear ideas about the way of the world in Singapore about half a century ago. The play accurately portrays the nuances of the family structure of Singapore in the 1950s-60s, and the gender inequality of that time.

Did You Know?

Although some part of the show are in Hokkien, there will be clear English subtitles on the screens at the two sides of the stage.
It is a play that promises to tickle and to touch you.

Well, after reading wtng's post, I find it apporiate to apologise for changing the puzzle without prior notice. But for the NC16 part, eh, Mrs Tee already said it's only blood, and no other "dirty" scene, and I had not watched it. I just so happen to read the synopsis in Wiki before it was reduced the shorter one. It seemed rather interesting. Try watching the trailer! >:) And also, Miss Wong, if you didn't know we changed, this proved that you are not active. :p (No pun intended though). Lastly, the password is kept secret, and everyone writes their name on the post, unless you're talking about the tagboard. :)

Okay okay. Needless for the normal greetings.
I WANT TO LODGE A FORMAL COMPLAIN ON MY APARTMENT MANAGEMENT.
They, the cheapskate people, just changed our phone line and changed our warm lightbulb into those you find in the market. I'm afraid Ms Ong will fall if she comes visiting (you should know why, ahem...). It's now soooo spooky at night cos' everything is orange, and it's not that I'm scared, eh, come on, we paid to stay here, and they change just like that. Then the drilling and everything come. I need silence! Bleah.

ANOTHER COMPLAIN. Unlucky me have such a thing called a "LAN" (not vulgar, think straight!) right below me. So, unlucky me (once, again) has to take the same bus with Hao Ran and his noisy bunch of gang (which I say they're childish too) making people think I'm with them, and having a bad impression of me. So what can I do?

I remember distintly that Mrs Yoganathan Pushpam mentioned something about Hossan Leong and his hilarious song about Singapore. Well, the above video is it. Enjoy! :)

Buy Pan's Labyrinth's DVD. Spooky, but nice. :) I love the story line. Hopefully it hit Singapore's shores soon...

Erm...ya...I have just went with kaiwen to check the price of the class t-shirt...(dun ask where is the place...)it is somewhere near Queentown...Ya,it is around $35 for adidas and $18 for FBT...(including printing of wordings...I think we will choose FBT...OK? Cause Adidas is very EX...so not mani ppl can afford it...N the Medium size or the adidas t-shirt can onli be wear by ppl whose body size is around Mr Benson Lee size...N the Small size can onli be wear by ppl whose body size is slighty bigger than vanessa or JAC(sry to use ur name) ...For ppl like me will hv to wear XXS which they dun hv...Bt FBT has XS...So how?Pls choose FBT...Can?
